8 Billion Privacy Policy

8 Billion is a life simulation game for Android and iOS made by Zaco Labs. This policy explains what information the app handles. The app has no accounts and no server of ours: we do not receive, store or sell your personal information.

Information that stays on your device

• Your lives, choices, progress and settings are saved only on your device.
• If you fill in the optional real-life profile (country, birth year and sex) to compare your life with the game, it is saved only on your device.
• Notes you write during a life are saved only on your device.

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else.

Advertising

The app can show a rewarded video ad when you choose to watch one, for example to open the next world. Ads are provided by Google AdMob and are requested as non-personalized ads. To deliver ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect information from your device such as the advertising ID and other device identifiers, IP address and approximate location derived from it, and ad interactions and diagnostics. This information is handled by Google under its own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

Sharing

When you tap Share on a birth card, the app creates an image and opens your device's share sheet. The image goes only where you choose to send it.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Deleting your data

Because everything is kept on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. We hold no copy to delete.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
